Fire & Water - Cleanup & Restoration

Thermal camera to detect where mold may grow.

Mold is hydrophilic (water loving) and a thermal camera finds water.

This camera is used to tell where the source of water is coming from. Sometimes the water is coming in the home because of a roof problem. Other times water might be coming in from a broken sprinkler. In either case the water is not coming in all the time, only when the wall or roof gets wet.

At the point of the leak mold will often begin to grow until the water dries. But the next time it rains, or the sprinklers turn on, the mold will begin to grow more rapidly. Finding the source of water is important to keeping mold out of your home.
