Salt Lake City Library with Extreme Flood Damage

When the rain started nobody expected the water to raise so quickly. Many offices, homes, and other commercial buildings were flooded. The Library was hit really hard and there was a lot of work to be done.

The main concern was that of the books. Because of how much water had intruded it left the building very humid. Bringing that humidity down was the most important goal.

Right after the water was extracted from the building SERVPRO of West Jordan got busy adding tubing that was connected to the desiccant dehumidifier. This machine pumps out humid air, dries and heats that air, and then pumps the new air back into the building.
